“As a mother of a second grader, the level of the reading of my daughter was very poor. She came from a private school where they wanted her to repeat the first grade, but it was a blessing to move my daughter from that school to a public school where Ms. Roberts was teaching. As soon as my daughter started school with Ms. Roberts, I began to see a big change. I remember pretty much when I explained to Ms. Roberts abut my daughter's issues, Ms. Roberts promised me that my daughter would be better. Ms. Roberts has fun, interesting, educational methods of teaching for the kids where they enjoy, have fun and learn how to read. The key for her is to catch kids with problems reading so she can solve their issues. As soon as my daughter got better reading--all the issues were solved, including her comprehension. One of the times I visited the school during class, something caught my attention. It was the drumming. I heard the kids happily singing, but in reality, they were learning to read. It made me wish that I was a little girl again so that I could learn English with her. God bless Ms. Roberts. Now, my daughter is in 10th grade and she LOVES to read. Thank you Ms. Roberts for all you've done for my daughter."

“Naila started kindergarten in August 2024 since then she has made tremendous progress in reading. She demonstrated significant growth in her fluency and comprehension skills, and her confidence in tackling complex texts increased exponentially! The foundation she built with the help of Ms. Roberts has been instrumental in her success this year, allowing her to dive deeper into books she would probably be nervous with because of the different words she might not be use to reading. Naila's reading journey has been amazing to see, her confidence & desires to want to keep going book after book makes me proud of how far she’s come. "As a teacher who has worked with early learners (4-6 year olds) for over 20 years, I have never experienced students learning to read so quickly and effectively until I walked into Ms. Roberts classroom. I was privileged to have both a front row seat and to assist her in implementing these skills on a daily basis. The program supports and challenges students on every level, teaching the fundamentals of phonics and gradually increasing to more detailed and advanced phonemic and reading comprehension skills. I witnessed students with no prior knowledge of both phonics and the English language learn to read at a first grade level by the end of their kindergarten school year. I now use this program in my classroom and I highly recommend it to other educators!"

"My daughter Braelyn was so blessed having Mrs. Roberts for her kindergarten teacher. Braelyn did not attend daycare or pre-k, she just went straight into kindergarten. I worked with her at home and she knew a few words but not many. Mrs. Roberts’ teaching methods are detailed and so amazing in every way. Braelyn soaked it all in and was sounding letters out and words and was full blown reading before no time. She eventually was on a first grade reading level in kindergarten. She is now in first grade and can read anything you put in front of her. It is so heartwarming to see and hear. I am so proud of her. Mrs. Roberts puts her entire soul into teaching our kids so they can be successful. Not a day goes by that Braelyn doesn't talk about her, she misses being in her class and giving her hugs. We love you Mrs. Roberts! You paved a foundation that helped my daughter thrive!

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Ms. Roberts, using the Love Myself, Love 2 Read program and see firsthand how this phonics program supports children’s reading development. The program’s approach stands out because it combines strong foundational literacy instruction with a focus on building self-confidence and a positive mindset toward learning. Students are not only learning the mechanics of reading — such as letter-sound relationships, decoding, and blending — but also developing an appreciation for their own progress. The lessons are structured, engaging, and adaptable to a range of skill levels, making it easy for educators to implement in both small group and classroom settings. From a coworker’s perspective, the dedication behind this program is evident. The creators are passionate about literacy and about helping every child see themselves as capable readers. Teachers have noted increased student motivation, confidence, and reading fluency after consistent use of the program. Overall, Love Myself, Love 2 Read is a thoughtfully designed, research-based phonics program that truly makes a difference in children’s reading journeys. It empowers both students and educators, making reading a joyful and affirming experience.
